Vedclass · Answer

(C) $Vasa$ $vasorum$ refers to a network of small blood vessels that supply the walls of large blood vessels, such as the aorta and vena cava. Since the walls of these large vessels are too thick for nutrients and oxygen to diffuse from the main lumen, these specialized small vessels provide the necessary blood supply. Therefore, they are often described as the 'vessels of vessels' or having a 'nutritive function' for the vessel walls.
