Vedclass · Answer

(A) Parthenogenesis is a form of asexual reproduction where an embryo develops from an unfertilized egg. In the phylum $Arthropoda$,specifically in insects like honeybees ($Apis$ $mellifera$),aphids, and some wasps, parthenogenesis is a well-documented phenomenon. For example,in honeybees, unfertilized eggs develop into male drones, while fertilized eggs develop into females (queens or workers). Therefore,$Arthropoda$ is the correct phylum among the given options that exhibits parthenogenesis.
