Vedclass · Answer

(B) herbarium is a storehouse of collected plant specimens that are dried, pressed, and preserved on sheets. These sheets are arranged according to a universally accepted system of classification. These specimens, along with their descriptions on the herbarium sheets, become a storehouse or repository for future use.The standard size of a herbarium sheet is $29 \ cm imes 41 \ cm$ (or $11.5 \ inches imes 16.5 \ inches$).Therefore,a herbarium sheet is essentially a sheet of paper (often heavy-duty or blotting paper) of a fixed size used for mounting plant specimens.
