Given: $P_0 = 50 \, cm$ of Hg at $0^{\circ} C$,$P_{100} = 90 \, cm$ of Hg at $100^{\circ} C$,$P_t = 60 \, cm$ of Hg. Substituting these values into the formula: $t = \frac{60 - 50}{90 - 50} 	imes 100^{\circ} C$ $t = \frac{10}{40} 	imes 100^{\circ} C$ $t = \frac{1}{4} 	imes 100^{\circ} C = 25^{\circ} C$. Thus,the temperature is $25^{\circ} C$.
