(N/A) $(1)$ Rate law (or rate equation or rate expression) is the expression in which reaction rate is given in terms of molar concentration of reactants with each term raised to some power, which may or may not be equal to the stoichiometric coefficient of the reacting species in a balanced chemical equation.
$(2)$ $A$ reaction is said to be unimolecular if only one reacting species is involved in the elementary step of the reaction, for example, the decomposition of $N_2O_5$ $(N_2O_5 \rightarrow N_2O_4 + \frac{1}{2}O_2)$.

Which of the following reactions has an overall order of $1.5$?

For the reaction $A + 2B \to C$,the rate is given by $R = k[A][B]^2$. The order of the reaction is:

The rate law for the reaction $A + B \rightarrow C$ at $25^{\circ} C$ is given by $\text{rate} = k[A][B]^2$. Calculate the rate of reaction if the rate constant at the same temperature is $6.25 \ mol^{-2} \ dm^6 \ s^{-1}$ where $[A] = 1 \ M$ and $[B] = 0.2 \ M$.

With the help of an example, explain what is meant by a pseudo first order reaction.

For the reaction: $2A + B \to A_2B$; the rate $= K[A][B]^2$ with $K = 2.0 \times 10^{-6} \ L^2 \ mol^{-2} \ s^{-1}$. Initial concentrations of $A$ and $B$ are $[A]_0 = 0.2 \ mol/L$ and $[B]_0 = 0.4 \ mol/L$ respectively. Calculate the rate of reaction after $[A]$ is reduced to $0.12 \ mol/L$.
